Fillimiooriay is an Irish-American work song from the mid-nineteenth century. The simple, rhythmic melody was used to accompany the repetitive physical labor of laying railroad tracks, and different verses would be added and changed as desired by the workers. Alternate versions of the title include Paddy/Pat Works on the Railway/Erie.
